There are eight teams taking part in IPL T20 2016 9th Edition including two new teams from the western cities of Pune and Rajkot which are Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are out due to corruption scandal for two years.
